Candy Script is a font that mimics traditional window sign painting in Argentinian culture. To accurately capture the thick hand-brushed lettering, Alejandro included alternates for nearly every upper and lowercase character, designing over 600 in all.

The first image shows the font in use as label packaging for a brand of cola. In this setting, it really captures the country's tradition of sitting down and popping open an ice-cold glass bottle of cola, in the heat of summer. The typeface and layout even give an allude to 50's culture.
The second image gives examples of some alternates for the first two letters of the alphabet.
The third image is the font in use as branding for Wiz Khalifa's hit album "Black and Yellow."

I had never given the idea of using alternate letters within the same typeface much thought until seeing this article online. I could see myself taking advantage of fonts that offer this luxury, for my own design work.
