A Tolkien Bestiary by David Day

The cover - etsystatic.com

Fellow peoples of Arda, I introduce to you David Day's bestiary, a visual and informative encyclopedia of the vast world of J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth, showcasing its various races, characters, beasts, historical events and places. This is the one tome to rule them all and its visual layout is elegantly justified and simplistic in style. I felt the text and the gorgeous imagery that adorned every page played off the other very well for the most part.

Not sure what the actual typeface used in this volume is, but it definitely fits with the rich Middle Earth vibe. If I can find out what font this is, it has the potential to be used in the future. Go now, and may the hair on your toes never fall off!
