Chris LaBrooy is a UK designer, represented by Debut Art. He produced these typographic illustrations for Leaddog marketing NYC. According to their website:
"Summer Streets is an annual celebration of New York City’s most valuable public space—our streets. Summer Streets provides space for healthy recreation and encourages New Yorkers to use more sustainable forms of transportation."
Activities last year included walking climbing, zip lining, urban art and whole food markets. Chris LaBrooy did a great job incorporating "streets" as a message through typography. I especially enjoy his use of the walk sign light as an 'A' and a manhole for an 'R'. LaBrooy captured New York City and the soul of this celebration.
