The images below are the invitation and catalogue from the
Heide Museum of Modern Art's exhibit of Heavenly Creatures, curated by Melissa
Keys. The exhibit was open from December 4, 2004–January 30, 2005. The range of
works represented in Heavenly Creatures was assembled from public and private
national collections, and included important works by Australian modernists such
as Arthur Boyd, John Perceval and Mirka Mora.
The invitation and catalogue were done by Design by Pidgeon,
the die-cut turned the two dimensional products into three-dimensional objects.
I think they’re beautifully designed and really convey the feel of the exhibit.
I wish I could put my hands on them!
