Ciao a tutti!
This is the textbook I used for my Concept Strategies class. It's called Graphic Design Thinking: Beyond Brainstorming and was edited by Ellen Lupton. It has been one of the better design books I have read. They keep everything simple, clean, and concise with lots of visual references on most pages. A majority, if not all of the book, is set in sans serif typefaces. The main body text looks like Helvetica, but I can not confirm that in the book. This was probably to give the book a more modern feel. I did find sans serif an interesting choice though because usually serif fonts would be more readable in big blocks of text. It may work in this application because the amount of text is kept to very limited amounts throughout the book. I still refer back to this book often for inspiration, brainstorming techniques, etc. but I have never considered the typesetting. Now I will keep this book on my list of go-to places for good typesetting.
